The Reader - Bernhard Schlink (1995)I was glad to have read this quick book after the movie, for the images in my head matched what I read on the pages, and each was true in its own way.
A quick read, the novel is short and precise in its descriptions and use of emotions with not too many unnecessary scenes. 3/5
