Music Monday - Running Up That Hill - Kate Bush

I was listening to this song on Saturday night on the bus going home, with silent tears spilling down my cheeks.  I've always loved it, but now the words mean more to me than ever:

It doesn't hurt me
Do you want to feel how it feels?
Do you want to know that it doesn't hurt me?
Do you want to hear about the deal that I'm making?
You, it's you and me
And if I only could
I'd make a deal with God
And I'd get him to swap our places
Be running up that road
Be running up that hill
Be running up that building
See if I only could, oh
Kate Bush

Songs can sometimes mean a great deal to us. I wonder if more of us are made sad by songs than happy...
