Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake - Anna Quindlen (2012)
I've always liked reading Anna Quindlens books, she is one of those steady writers who can get you lost in a story, in many of her novels. Now she writes a memoir about her life approaching sixty, aging, marriage, kids, career and writing. In my mid forties I'm drawn to these books, and hope to be able to storm into my own later years with the same grace as the author. As she reminds you, you either die or you get older, and working in a hospital, I know that not every one is granted the privledge of extra years.
So it was a good solid 4/5 from me.
